My wife and I stayed near the trail of two forest walking trails on a dispersed camping trip. Absolutely amazing place. Stayed in a place where the night sky was so gorgeous I always slept in after marveling at the beauty the universe had to offer, nay I say flaunted before me. Had no idea my surroundings could be so void of light. Unsettling darkness, mesmerizing beauty. Highly recommend this experience.
The Forrest is amazing. The only issues ate the lack of any road maintenance and the crazy fees for everything. Seems to me that is you collect all these fees they could do a little road maintenance

Beautiful place to visit. We were there over a long weekend in August. The weather was perfect, the Cispus river was low but still beautiful - there's nothing quite like that sound! We spent lots of time walking the many paths and trails. Will def be going back.
